Ashley Market
place is a gourmet grocer nestled in the heart of downtown South Orange. We opened our doors to the public in early 2013 and have been making great strides since then.
What makes Ashley Marketplace special, different from other markets, is our focus on what our customers want — sounds cliché but that’s ok with us. Our customers are our neighbors and, as such, we try to make ourselves as accessible and responsive as a friendly neighbor.
As a gourmet market, we pride ourselves on specialty offerings — black caviar, foie gras, truffle oil, imported cheeses. At the same time we know our proximity to the train station and our location in the center of town give us the ideal location to be a one-stop shop, the village go-to. We don’t take our location for granted. We believe it’s our duty to provide customers with everything they need to feed their families, not just gourmet items, but the basics that get you and your family through the week.
