The following is from the Achieve Foundation:
The Achieve Foundation announces its largest annual distribution of funds for Teacher Grants to date: $70,155 to 68 teachers for creative projects in all nine district schools. The money will be used for innovative projects teachers have created to benefit their students at all nine schools in the current school year. This is the 15th year that Achieve has offered teachers this energizing opportunity to expand learning in ways they think will be most exciting and useful to their students.
Some examples of this year’s grants are: Women, Drums, Culture and Social Expression at CHS; Sensory Seating for Special Education Classrooms at Marshall Elementary, and a Future Leaders Club for at-risk students at MMS.

Help Add More Teacher Grants
More projects are in need of funding, because some approved grant proposals did not receive the entire amount of money requested.
