Ricalton’s, a multi-level restaurant and pub, is set to open within a couple of weeks in the long-dormant Stuft Shirt space on Valley Street in South Orange.
Owned by Stony Johnson of the popular Stony’s burger place also in town, Ricalton’s will house an Irish pub on one level, a full-service restaurant and bar featuring American cuisine on the other, and a private party room.
The restaurant is named for Johnson’s great-great grandfather, James Ricalton, who was Maplewood’s first schoolmaster and a world explorer.
