Yesterday morning, a giant tree fell at the Prospect Street curve near Sommer Street in Maplewood, taking out power for a large swath of the neighborhood for a little more than 30 minutes. PSEG, Maplewood Police, and Maplewood Fire personnel responded; no-one was injured.
