The South Orange Village Center Alliance is producing live music in the heart of South Orange Village Center every Friday and Saturday through Labor Day from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Spiotta Park and on Sloan Street. Grab some dinner, grab a lawn chair and get set for some great live music:
- On Friday, August 15, enjoy jazz, pop and family sing along with the Dave Rimelis Duo on Sloan St. and rock out with The Kludge in Spiotta Park.
- On Saturday, August 16, it’s time for the Great American songbook with the Jay Dougherty and the Sloane St. Serenaders on Sloan Street and R&B, swing and blues from the FrostKings in Spiotta Park.
This year, Morrow’s Musical Theater Camp is putting on Peter Pan Jr. The show runs Saturday, August 16 at 2 and 7 p.m. and on Sunday, August 17 at 2 p.m. at Morrow Memorial Methodist Church, 600 Ridgewood Road, Maplewood. A $10 donation is suggested for admittance. More information here.
