Seton Village’s Third Annual Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival enjoyed more trucks, more craft beers and double the crowds on Friday, September 23.
The festival, which closed down the heart of Irvington Avenue for live music, 16 food trucks — everything from gourmet grilled cheese to French-style Belgian waffles — and a biergarten with 16 craft beers, wine and cider, was a raging success, enjoying a beautiful fall evening and proud neighborhood spirit. Seton Hall students, local residents, families and visitors from across the two towns flocked to the event, which had a little something for everyone.
The Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival was produced by the Seton Village Committee in conjunction with the Village of South Orange, the South Orange Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs, and the South Orange Department of Public Works, with support from Gaslight Restaurant and Brewery, Seton Hall University, Natalie Farrell of Weichert Realtors, Blink Fitness and interACT Theater Productions.
The mission of the Seton Village Committee is “To create a thriving Irvington Avenue which attracts patrons, residents and the Seton Hall University community with diverse shops and restaurants, and a safe, attractive and vibrant neighborhood.” To learn more and get involved, visit the Seton Village Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SetonVillageSO.
