South Orange and Maplewood are collaborating to produce a shared celebration of Hanukkah this year with a two-towns Menorah Lighting at the gazebo at Springfield Avenue (1688 Springfield Avenue) in Maplewood on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 6. p.m.
The event will include kosher donuts and hot chocolate, blessings, songs and the lighting of the menorah, attended by elected officials and Maplewood and South Orange faith leaders.
The event is jointly sponsored by five local synagogues, both townships and the Springfield Avenue Partnership:
