Maplewood Police: Man Grabs Woman’s Cell Phone on Boyden Ave.

A woman walking in the 400 block of Boyden Avenue last Thursday around 11:30 a.m. told police a man snatched her cell phone out of her hand, said Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Dept. The man then ran away towards Mill Rd.

August 16, 2016; Bicycle Theft; Between 6 PM and 9 PM a bicyle left on the lawn of a North Terr residence was stolen.

August 17, 2016; Motor Vehicle Theft; At approximately 4 AM a Chevy pickup truck was stolen from a business on Springfield Ave with the key. The vehicle was later recovered in Irvington.

August 18, 2016; Bicycle Theft; During the overnight hours a bicycle was stolen from an unsecured garage on Hudson Ave.

August 20, 2016; Theft from Autos; During the overnight hours three unsecured vehicles parked on Troy Court were entered. Prescriptions, toys and change were stolen from the vehicles.
