The following is a message from the Millburn Police Department:
The Millburn Police Department along with the Ridgefield Park and Rochelle Park Police Departments are requesting the public’s help in identifying the man in the attached photographs. This individual has been involved with thefts of wallets from office buildings located in the above jurisdictions. On September 8th and September 10th the man is observed on surveillance video entering two separate office buildings located in Short Hills. The same man is later seen on surveillance video in shopping malls using the victim’s stolen credit cards.
On September 11th the same man is observed on surveillance video in office buildings located in Ridgefield Park and Rochelle Park where wallets were also stolen.
The man dresses in business casual clothing and during one incident he was observed wearing a yarmulke. The man waits outside a secured doorway for an employee to exit or enter and follows them into the building.
Anyone with information or that can identify the man is asked to call the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau at 973-564-7017.
