From CHS Fencing parents:
On Friday, February 5 at 7 p.m., CHS Fencing will host its wine tasting fun(d)raiser at the elegant and historic Club at Orange Lawn in South Orange. Please join us to taste a number of wines in a fun and social atmosphere at the beautiful Club at Orange Lawn.
Famed wine connoisseur and fencing parent alumnus Hank Zona will lead the tasting and conversation and will field your questions. Hank is the owner and host of The Grapes Unwrapped, his wine events business and wine-themed TV show. Those who attended last year can attest that it was a great event and one not to be missed!
This event is an excellent value and the major fundraiser for the top-flight Columbia Fencing program and its student-athletes, perennially one of the best high school fencing programs in New Jersey. Fundraising is key to maintaining the quality of our program this year and years to come. As we will host this event in a public venue, ticket sales will be open to the public. We hope to make this our best, largest, and most successful fun(d)raising event yet!
The sale of tickets is available now, and you can secure your reservation by emailing Karen Lynch at brian.lynch450@gmail.com on a first come first served basis. The cost is $50 per ticket. In addition to Hank Zona’s delicious wines, passed hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, and sweets will be served by the Club at Orange Lawn.
