With the school year just kicking off, it’s time to mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Millburn Education Foundation Fall Festival, on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Families of all ages will enjoy games, rides, music and food at the festival, which will be held at Millburn High School’s front lawn from 11 am – 3:00 pm. The Education Foundation’s programs support all of Millburn’s schools with programming, technology and more.
“We were thrilled with the success of last year’s first ever Fall Festival which allowed us to further our mission to support the Millburn/Short Hills schools,” says the Education Foundation’s president, Amy Talbert in a press release. “This year’s event will feature a similar mix of entertainment and refreshments to suit the entire family from elementary through high school ages. We look forward to seeing our community come together for a day of fun and fundraising.”
Families can look forward to a whole host of carnival games and rides for all ages including the bungee run, mechanical bull, Velcro wall, sumo wrestling, 77 ft. obstacle course, Wild One obstacle, rock wall climbing, Energizer, World of Sports, and more. Enjoy food and drink from a wide variety of vendors.
Advance purchase of wristbands ($25) and ride/game/food tickets ($1 each) are available now through September 18 at the Education Foundation website. Wristbands include access to most rides and games plus 1 popcorn or 1 cotton candy AND 1 raffle ticket. After September 18, wristbands are $30 and do not include the raffle ticket.
