Donuts, hot cider and smashed pumpkins were on the menu today at Maplewood’s Memorial Park as the Columbia High School Key Club hosted a Pumpkin Smash this afternoon.
Kids were given plastic bats to smash all pumpkins in a safe, controlled environment.
All donations went to the Eliminate Project, a program that seeks to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus by immunizing mothers and their babies.
