Columbia High School Track and Field Coach Lisa Morgan is leaving to take the head coaching position for the new outdoor track and field program at Bloomfield College.
According to the News-Record, Morgan will complete one more fall cross country season and one more winter indoor season at CHS before departing for Bloomfield College.
During her tenure at CHS, the track and field team accumulated numerous championships and spawned the career of All-American Olivia Baker. In addition, new opportunities have come Morgan’s way: This past summer, she was the first female head coach for Team USA at the World Youth Championships, leading the team to 19 medals.
