Updated Jan. 12, 2015, 8:55 a.m. to reflect that the Board of Trustees is considering a the introduction of an ordinance to rezone PRC-B, which is the Orange Lawn Tennis Club property.
The South Orange Board of Trustees will meet in open session at 8 p.m. tonight in the main theater at the South Orange Performing Arts Center.

Items for action include the second reading of an ordinance to amend a section of the code to include a new subsection titled Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs Fees, as well as the second reading of an ordinance establishing a salary range for the magistrate and chief magistrate.
Also on the agenda are three ordinances for first reading — including one requiring property owners to maintain a line of sight at intersections. Importantly, Ordinance 2015-02, which is also being considered for introduction, “rezones” PRC-B, which is the Orange Lawn Tennis Club property. Orange Lawn has been looking to sell off some of its property for development.
Bob Zuckerman, Executive Director of the South Orange Village Center Alliance, will present the special improvement district’s 2015 budget. The Board will also consider a resolution opposing the proposed Pilgrim Pipeline.
