If you don’t live in South Orange, find a friend who does and get yourself out to “Adult Night” at the South Orange Pool on Friday night, June 24, 6-9 p.m.
The evening will include musical entertainment and dinner poolside.
South Orange residents are allowed to bring adult guests at no charge. (Residents without a Recreation I.D. must show one proof of residency.)
The snack bar will be open with dinner specials.
Live music will be provided by the Nourijanian/Meinhart/Kaufman Trio, a NYC-based group that plays a wide range of music from jazz to pop. This trio is made up of international touring musicians who are all on the faculty at Mark Murphy’s Music in South Orange.
Here’s more good news: While the pool is open Saturdays and Sundays now from noon to 8 p.m., staring Saturday, June 25, the pool will be open seven days a week.
To obtain a Recreation I.D. badge, visit The Baird (5 Mead St, South Orange, 973-378-7754) with proof of residency. Single badges are $35; families are $140.
