A man allegedly robbed a fanny pack from a woman walking on Springfield Avenue near Chancellor Avenue last Thursday at around 6 a.m., said Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Department.

The woman was approached from behind by a man who grabbed the fanny pack and pulled on it until she released it, said Black. The man then fled on foot with the pack.
