Families and students of Marshall School and Maplewood Middle School, rejoice!
After doing without librarians for the first part of the 2016-17 school year, relief is on the way.
The South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education appointed a librarian for each school at its meeting on Monday, Dec. 19.
Joanne Cinquemani will begin work as a full-time school library media specialist at Marshall School on January 20, while Evyn Degnan will begin as the full-time school library media specialist at Maplewood Middle School on January 3. (Degnan, a 2013 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, has already worked as a substitute teacher in the district.)
