John Allyn, a second-grader at Deerfield School in Millburn, is starring as Michael Darling in the live production of “Peter Pan” on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 4.

The show, which stars Allison Williams of HBO’s “Girls” as Peter, and Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, airs at 8 p.m.
The Allyn family invites people to “tune in to enjoy a great family event,” according to a press release from the Millburn School District.
