A pleasant stroll with the family through a picturesque village. Juried professional artists displaying exquisite art and jewelry at reasonable prices. A horde of hungry (though friendly) zombies on the loose.
That’s what you might find if you attend the art festival along Maplewood Avenue in Maplewood on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Cast members from InterACT Productions’ upcoming production of “Night of the Living Dead” will preview the scary and hilarious characters from the play, in which an unlikely group of survivors try to defend an abandoned farmhouse from an assault by the living dead.
“Night of the Living Dead Live” is a spoof of the famed 1968 movie by George Romero which introduced the idea of zombies as we know them today to popular culture.
