Lorraine Labonne-Storch, who has been a fixture in the Maplewood community for years, is the new Executive Director of the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce.
Labonne-Storch is taking over for Rene Conlon, who has relocated to Charleston, SC with her husband, former Maplewood Police Captain Paul Conlon.
Labonne-Storch currently works as a sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Maplewood. She will work closely with other members of the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on its mission “to promote and strengthen the business community through goals and programs that encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and foster a positive image of Maplewood.”
Prior to her career in real estate, Labonne-Storch spent more than 30 years in the marketing, sales and education fields. She is a Brooklyn native is fluent in English, French and Haitian Creole.
In addition to her involvement in the chamber, Labonne-Storch sits on the board of directors at Maplewood Village Alliance. She is commissioner on the Maplewood Historic Preservation Commission. Labonne-Storch is a member of the Maplewood Green Team, North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS, the Garden State Multiple Listing Service, the National Association of Professional Women and the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
