Looking for an excuse to do a little shopping in these dog days of summer? Head over to Maplewood Village on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the annual Summer Sidewalk Sale.
“The Summer Sidewalk Sale is a win-win opportunity for shoppers and merchants alike,” said Julie Doran, director of the Maplewood Village Alliance. “It gives shoppers the chance to find great bargains while the merchants get to clear the store to make space for the Fall goodies which are arriving daily — and, of course, Maplewood Village is the perfect backdrop for shopping and strolling. Visitors should take a look inside the stores as well, you never know what you might find and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, that’s where all the action will be.”
