Morgan Dental is pleased to announce the installation of its new 3D imaging CT scan. Only 10% of all dentists in the U.S. have invested in a dental cone beam CT in their office, and its capacity to treatment plan for implants and endodontics is unparalleled. Dr. Mary Morgan is excited to continue the level of diagnostic excellence she enjoyed while working in a top practice in Manhattan where she was first exposed to the capabilities of this technology.
The dental CT scan is taken in either a standing or sitting position. Her machine is especially advanced in extremely low dose radiation and a 3D image of the jaw can be achieved with less exposure than a complete set of digital x-rays and is less than only four old-fashioned dental film radiographs. Its precision and engineering enables the dentist to capture an image that can often take the mystery out of difficult to diagnose dental conditions and visualize the bone available for placement of dental implants.
Dental implants have become the standard of care for treating a failing tooth without harming neighboring teeth, and Dr. Morgan believes that the goal of dentistry is to conserve healthy dentition and bring her patients the comfort of replacing any lost teeth with a permanent and tooth-like substitution, the dental implant and crown.
