After 20 years, Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Rene Conlon is bidding the Chamber farewell.
Conlon, alas, will also be saying adieu to her colleagues at Matters Magazine and Maplewood itself, as she is set to move to Charleston, SC this summer with her husband, former Maplewood Police Captain Paul Conlon.
Conlon was honored at a sold-out annual chamber luncheon on Wednesday, May 25. There were many heartfelt and humorous salutes and goodbyes, but none provoked as many tears and laughs as the tribute from Conlon’s good friend, workmate and soul sister Karen Duncan, publisher of Matters Magazine.
