Noodlefan opening in former Family Buffet location in South Orange the week of November 7.
Noodlefan, a full service restaurant with Thai Asian cuisine, will be opening its doors to the public next week at 14 Academy Street in South Orange.
“Anyone who has driven down Academy Street for the past several months probably noticed that work was being done on the building that used to be Family Buffet,” wrote South Orange Village Center Alliance Director Bob Zuckerman in his weekly Village Vibe newsletters.
“Now the time has finally come for this small chain of restaurants to open their sixth New Jersey location right here in our very own South Orange Village Center. They obviously specialize in noodle dishes but they also offer rice dishes, seafood, curries and other chef’s specialties.”

Noodlefan will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and will soon be offering free delivery with a minimum $15 order.
