Bill & Harry’s Chinese restaurant on Maplewood Avenue was broken into during the overnight hours on Wednesday, and several rolls of change were stolen, said Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Department.
Other than that, it was a fairly quiet week in crime in Maplewood. Here is the rest of this week’s blotter:
August 21, 2014; Bicycle Theft; At approximately 12:15 PM, two unlocked bicycles were stolen from Columbia High School. One was recovered later at the school.
August 24, 2014; Motor vehicle theft; Between 6:30 and 10:30 PM a Chrysler Voyager was stolen from in front of an Elsman Ter home. The vehicle was later recovered in Newark.
