Maplewood Police Chief Robert Cimino, Capt. Dawn Williams, Lt. Albert Sally and Sgt. Connie Fields
It was a packed house at the Maplewood Township Committee meeting on Tuesday, as two members of the Maplewood Fire Department and three members of the Maplewood Police Department were promoted.
Scores of proud family members, friends and fellow officers and firefighters filled the seats at Town Hall to witness the event.
Those receiving promotions were:
- Capt. Michael W. DeMartini was promoted to Deputy Chief of the Maplewood Fire Department
- Firefighter Edward P. Nugent was promoted to Captain of the Maplewood Fire Department
- Lieutenant Dawn Marie Williams was promoted to Captain of the Maplewood Police Department
- Sgt. Albert Frederick Sally was promoted to Lieutenant of the Maplewood Police Department
- Police Officer Connie Denise Fields was promoted to Sgt. of the Maplewood Police Department
Township Clerk Elizabeth Fritzen swore in each officer and firefighter to enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
