Two people were robbed at gunpoint by two men and a woman on South Orange Avenue on Wednesday, police said.
At around 1:10 a.m., the two were walking west on South Orange Ave. from Newark when they were approached by three people who ordered them to the ground and took their cash and cell phones. The three then ran away toward Newark.
The suspects were described as two black men and one black woman. One man was approximately 5’8″, wearing a light blue and dark blue jacket, and the other man was 6’2″ and was wearing red pants. The woman was approximately 5’5″ and was wearing a black tank top and dark jeans. The Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
