The Class of 2015 has much to be proud of as 49 Columbia High School seniors recently received Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Awards and recognition from the National College Board.

Columbia students were recognized in four different categories, based on the number of AP courses completed and the high scores received on AP Exams taken in 2014, with 5 being the highest grade.

In addition, one Columbia High School student was named as a semifinalist in the National Achievement Scholarship Competition for black students who achieved very high scores on the PSAT taken in their junior year. One Columbia High School student was also named as a National Hispanic Scholar.

Another student was named a National Merit Semifinalist, and 17 students were National Merit Commended students.
