The following is from the Maplewood/South Orange Youth Wrestling Club:
Open to Maplewood and South Orange residents in Grades 2 – 8. No experience necessary.
Register in person at Columbia High School (East Gym) between 6:30 – 8 pm on Oct. 25, Oct. 27, Nov. 1, or Nov. 3.
Parents must bring their wrestler to weigh-in at registration.
The registration fee is $125 in cash or by check (made payable to “Cougar Recreational Wrestling”).
New wrestlers are welcome to try a few practices for free before payment is due.
Practices are 3x per week, starting November 12th, and run through the first week of March.
Practices held in the wrestling room and East Gym at Columbia High School: 2nd – 5th grade: M & W, 6:30 – 7:30 pm, and Sat. 10 – noon 6th – 8th grade: T & Th, 6:30 – 8:00 pm, and Sat. 10 – noon
