Many residents of South Orange and Maplewood are not aware of a handy way to stay in the know about happenings on the Board of Education.
There are those who sit through a multi-hour BOE meeting live and in person (third Monday of the month unless otherwise announced, 7:30 p.m. at 525 Academy Street) or watch it live on television (SOMAtv broadcasts on Channel 19 for Cablevision customers in South Orange, Channel 22 & 44 for FiOS customers in South Orange, Channel 35 for Comcast customers in Maplewood, and Channel 22 for FiOS customers in Maplewood).
There is also a third option.

Recently, the August and September meetings were late to post. We contacted the district Director of Strategic Communications Suzanne Turner who told us that the district was experiencing some technical problems. This morning, she contacted us again to let us know that the issues have been resolved and the videos are all posted.
