Maplewood Lacrosse Club (MLC) provides the opportunity to play recreational lacrosse to boys in grades K-8 who are residents of Maplewood and South Orange.
For grades K-2 we offer an 8-week spring clinic that emphasizes learning fundamentals and having fun. Players will be introduced to the rules of the game and basic skills in all field positions while participating in drills and scrimmages. No experience is needed, but full equipment is required. Grades 3-8 are eligible for league play. The spring season generally runs from late March through early June.
Registration for the Spring 2017 season starts on 10/23/16 for returning players. Open registration starts 11/1/16 for new players. Note that a current US Lacrosse Youth Membership is required for all Maplewood Lacrosse Club programs; enrollment or renewal is easily completed as part of the club’s online registration process.
Maplewood Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, and welcomes coaches at all levels.
