The Maplewood Township Committee will meet Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

Some highlights:
- An ordinance on first reading to grant Maplewood Urban Renewal, LLC, (Avalon Bay Communities, Inc.) the developer of the site of the former PSE&G building on Boyden Avenue, a 30-year payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreement. The PILOT would be 10 percent of rental income, with annual escalations in payments. Learn more about the proposed agreement in this article.
- A resolution extending the period of negotiation with Maplewood Urban Renewal, LLC to May 7, 2015. (The current negotiation period ends March 7, and the PILOT ordinance will not see its final public hearing and vote until after that on March 17, said Mayor Vic DeLuca.)
- A resolution extending the period of negotiation with the developer of the Post Office site to June 3.
- A resolution awarding a contract to Phillips Preiss Grygiel LLC to prepare amendments to the redevelopment plan for Maplewood Commons.
- A discussion of the 2015 budget.
- A Board of Health meeting, which will include a discussion of animal control, according to Health Officer Robert Roe.
