The Maplewood Farmers Market returns on Monday, June 6, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Township Administrator Joseph Manning made the announcement at the April 19, 2016 Township Committee meeting.
The market is located at Springfield Avenue and Indiana Street and is managed by the Township of Maplewood and Assistant Township Administrator Cesar Correa. The market runs every Monday through the end of October and is sometimes extended a week or two into November — depending on weather and market attendance.
We don’t yet have confirmation for 2016 vendors, but goods for sale generally include: Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, pickles and olives, breads, pastries and preserves, cheeses; prepared foods like steaks, burgers, crab cakes; gluten-free meals for “on the go” and veggie burgers.
