The Annual Rummage Sale at Prospect Presbyterian Church (646 Prospect Street, Maplewood), continues this Saturday, Aug. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Donors supporting this recycling fundraiser helped transform the church basement into a department store of guaranteed bargains.
Come take a look for something special, something needed:
- Books, housewares, luggage, bric-a-brac, appliances, linens.
- Clothes for children, women and men, jewelry furniture, bicycles, toys and games.
- CDs and LPs, fine collectables, exercise and sports equipment, tools.
The Prospect Presbyterian Women have been doing this for 37 years and one unarguable motivation is that all proceeds except for minimum costs go to nonprofits, particularly those providing services to women and children. Last year they raised $13,000.
The final sale date — also a $5 bag sale — is Saturday, Sept. 12 , from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
