Families, Halloween is just around the corner and so is OUR FIRST LOCAL HALLOWEEN CANDY BUY BACK! I have partnered with Maplewood Family Dental (Dr. Justin Fried) to collect your kid’s excess candy after Halloween!
The @halloweencandybuyback Program is a national tradition that gets kids in the sprit of giving – candy is accepted by dentists and shipped to the USO’s @operationgratitude for the troops along with cases of toothbrushes for good dental health. Kids are rewarded for parting with all the candy you don’t want them to eat with a toothbrush, prize, and knowing that money has been donated to the troops on their behalf. Maplewood Family Dental has already sent a $100 contribution from them and our area kids, as well as a case of toothbrushes. If you wish to donate additional funds, you may do so here:

Maplewood Family Dental, 2168 Millburn Ave, Suite 201, Maplewood , NJ 07040 – 973.763.0808 – questions, ask for Randi Fried) will collect candy from November 2-5.
Each kid who drops off candy that first week in November will be greeted enthusiastically. They will be offered a toothbrush, a visit to the treasure chest and our praise for their participation in the effort. I will collect the candy after that and ship it to the USO.
Please spread the word – tell your area friends/other parents, and I will also circulate within SOMA PTAs.
