Services have been announced for Monet Armenia, the 42-year-old South Orange resident and mother of two who passed away Friday from breast cancer.
The family will be receiving friends at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, NJ on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 767 Prospect Street, South Orange, NJ on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Stand Up To Cancer, File 1224, 1801 W. Olympic Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91199-1224 or to St. Barnabas Hospice And Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052 would be appreciated.

In addition, the Dolphins Swim Team — of which Armenia’s two children, Jackson and Aidan, are members — is holding a Swim-A-Thon Wednesday at the South Orange Community Pool to raise money in memory of Armenia and to set up a fund for the boys. The meet will begin at 8:15 a.m.
