Your next opportunity to unload those unwanted PCs, hard drives, monitors and more comes Saturday, September 13.
From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Maplewood and South Orange residents can bring their electronics recycling to South Orange Public Works at 300 Walton Rd.
Accepted items are computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, telecom equipment, speakers, televisions, keyboards, main frames, VCRs, stereos, DVD Players, toasters, irons and old cellular telephones.
Proof of residency will be required at the site. Commercial and large quantity electronics users will not be permitted to use the facilities.
To accommodate Residents who cannot be there on Saturdays, the centers will accept electronic recycling during regular hours on the Thursday at South Orange and Friday at Maplewood before each Electronic Recycling day.
