Join South Orange Village President Sheena Collum for a South Orange Game Night & Scrabble Tournament on Thursday, June 2nd beginning at 6:30PM. The event will be held at Above Restaurant & Bar’s Rear Outdoor Patio! Drink specials, cash bar, and feel free to order off the menu.
The proceeds will go to benefit Meals on Wheels in South Orange, run by Sage Eldercare, for residents 60+ who are frail or homebound. Larger donations are encouraged and welcomed.
Games include: 5 Second Rule, Bananagrams, Boggle, Yahtzee, Scategories, Timeline, card games, and more! There will also be an official “Scrabble Tournament” which will start at 7PM (pre-registration required, show up between 6:30pm-7:00pm to reserve your spot). The winner of the Scrabble Tournament will receive a $100 Gift Certificate to Above along with 2 wrist bands to SouthNext.
If you don’t like those options above – feel free to bring your own game! The cost to attend is a $10 donation ($5 for seniors).
Larry Aronson, Owner of Homewatch CareGivers in South Orange, will be matching the first $500 of people attending the event.
