South Orange residents over the age of 60 who are on a limited income may qualify for Meals on Wheels at no cost for a limited time until March 31, 2016. SAGE Eldercare in Summit will provide the service thanks to a grant from Subaru of America and Meals on Wheels America.
Seniors who would like to receive a hot lunch and cold dinner two days a week should contact the Meals on Wheels office at SAGE for more information at 908.273.5554.
Volunteers are needed to help deliver the meals. If you’d like to volunteer, contact Marianne Kranz, Director of Meals on Wheels mkranz@sageeldercare.org or 908.598.5514.

This offer is available on a first come, first served basis. After March 31, meals can continue as a private pay service.
For 50 years SAGE has been serving Meals on Wheels to local residents, thanks to dedicated volunteers. Individuals age 60 and older who are frail, homebound, or disabled are eligible, including those recuperating from an illness, those who are mentally or physically impaired or those without family or friends to shop for them.
