The Millburn Board of Education meets for its first regular meeting with the newly-constituted Board on Monday, January 12 at 7:45 p.m. at the Education Center, 434 Millburn Avenue. The agenda includes the presentation of the initial draft of the 2015-2016 school year budget. All members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend.
The Board will also be tasked with finding a new superintendent of Dr. James Crisfield, who has headed Millburn’s schools since 2o1o, announced in November that he was leaving his position to lead an out-of-state district beginning in March 2015. In a letter to parents, Crisfield blamed New Jersey’s superintendent salary cap for his decision.
