South Orange Rotary and Maplewood Rotary, SHU Rotaract and the Teen Leaders Interact Clubs will sponsor a Two Towns Community Blood Drive on Sunday, January 18 from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
The drive, in honor of National Blood Donor Awareness Month and in observance of the National Day of Volunteerism, will be on the bus in the South Orange Public Library parking lot at 65 Scotland Road, South Orange.
Remember to bring ID and bring plenty to eat and drink the day of the drive.
Blood is traditionally in short supply during the winter months due to holidays, inclement weather, school breaks, and illness, according to a press release. January has been designated National Blood Donor Month to encourage blood donations during this challenging time. Please donate and encourage co-workers to do the same.
If you are not able to donate, consider volunteering to help with the drive.
In observance of the National Day of Service, the South Orange Rotarians are co-sponsoring this drive and encouraging the community to help their neighbor by donating blood.
