SUN, 3/1 at 7:30PM–Gaelic Storm
World Music, Irish; Tickets: $35-$45

With their signature acoustic production, Gaelic Storm blends indie-folk and world grooves with Celtic tradition to serve up a ringside seat for fifteen rounds of pugilistic poultry pounding sound.

WED 3/4 at 7:30PM—Tom Paxton & Janis Ian, Together at Last
Singer-songwriters, Folk; Tickets: $30-$50 

Two of America’s greatest songwriters share the stage for an evening of stories and songs. Tom Paxton and Janis Ian are nearly a generation apart yet share a slew of folk influences as well as an affinity for fearlessly tackling controversial issues

Bluegrass, Roots; Tickets: $30-$40

Led by thirteen-time Grammy Award-winner and three-time Country Music “Musician of the Year” Jerry Douglas, The Earls of Leicester is a tribute to the music of legendary bluegrass pioneers Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs and their band, Foggy Mountain Boys.

Richie Furay has been a pioneering force in rock and country music since the 1960’s. A founding member of Buffalo Springfield, Poco, and SHF, he has been an innovator of new musical forms, a great songwriter, provided some of Rock and Roll’s best vocals. Brewer & Shipley have remained true to their original form since their debut four decades ago, and are recognized as one of America’s most successful folk-rock duos of the 1970’s.

Jazz

Frank Noviello is a true jazz vocalist adhering to a tradition of swing and spontaneous performance. Frank has performed and recorded with many of the areas world class jazz players and notable venues such as Birdland and Village Gate.

FRI 3/20 at 8PM–Richard Shindell and Lucy Kaplansky “The Pine Hill Project” with special guests Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams
Singer-songwriters, Folk
Tickets: $30-$50
Richard and Lucy performed together in the acclaimed folk “supergroup” Cry, Cry, Cry. Shindell is a meticulous craftsman of song and Kaplansky, blends country, folk and pop styles with the unique ability to make every song she sings sound fresh.

SAT 3/21 at 2PM–Jack and the Beanstalk
Kids N’ Family, Musical Theatre

This musical adaptation is a rollicking retelling of the classic fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk, part of the Kids ‘N Family series at SOPAC.

SUN 3/22 at 3PM–Juilliard @ SOPAC: Weixiong Wang, Clarinet
Classical

The 23-year-old clarinetist is a member of the Albany Orchestra and a winner of several international competitions.

WED 3/25 at 8 PM–The Priests
Classic Crossover Phenomenon
Tickets: $38-$58

Like Il Divo, The Priests make classical music that appeals to a broad, pop-minded audience. This astounding classical crossover act is made up of actual Roman Catholic priests!

FRI 3/27 at 8PM–Leon Russell
Rock

Leon Russell is a Rock ‘N Roll Hall-of-Famer who has been performing his gospel-infused southern boogie piano, rock, blues, and country music for over 50 years.

SAT 3/28 at 8PM–Forbidden Broadway
Musical Theatre
Ticket: $28-$48
The fall-down funny, musical roast of Broadway that has picked up 9 Drama Desk Awards, a Special Tony, an Obie, a Lucille Lortel and Drama League Award, is back with a blast.
