Students at Columbia High School will be hosting a video marathon of their take on the HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm” on Thursday, April 21 at 6 p.m. in the CHS Black Box Theater.
Every episode will be played, leading up to the highly anticipated finale.
“We created the series as a tribute to Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. It is one of our favorite shows!” said Ben Krueger, who co-directed and co-wrote the series with Jacob Hirsch. Jack Niggli is the editor of the series.
Krueger explained that the series took the basic elements of the original show but has since expanded into a unique story — “built off of things that have happened to us.”
“The Curbathon is a way to show off all of the hard work we have put into this over the past year and a half, and premiere the finale, which has been in the works since July.”
Krueger added, “The show has gained a lot of traction in the community and especially in school. Lots of people are waiting excitedly for our the finale. All people acting in the films are in high school and somehow involved in the community, whether it be the arts, theater, sports, etc.”
In case you weren’t sure, Krueger guarantees, “It’s going to be a good time!”
