The Maplewood Village Alliance will host the 8th annual Girls Night Out on Thursday, June 11, according to a release from the MVA.
Here is more information:
Over 25 Village merchants will open their doors and host an array of activities, including raffles, refreshments, trunk shows and more. With everything from door prizes, signature cocktails, mini-massages, music and even some surprises, there is something for everyone. The festivities begin at 6pm.
Girls Night Out is generously sponsored by Alison Ziefert and Collette Andrews of Keller Williams Midtown Direct Realty. Visit them at 181 Maplewood Avenue during the event for a special open house. Allison and Collette are also sponsoring DJ Jimmy B who will get the party started at the registration tent on the corner of Maplewood Avenue and Baker Street.
The popular Shop-to-Win promotion is back. It’s simple to enter, just stop by the Maplewood Village Alliance tent on the corner of Maplewood Avenue and Baker Street by 8:30 pm with any receipts from purchases made during the event (from participating merchants only) and your name will be entered to win one of several prizes. The best part is the more you shop, the more chances you have to win: you will get one entry for every receipt you present. Only two rules apply; you must be 18 or over to enter and it’s one receipt per participating merchant.
Finally, reusable shopping bags will be given away for your purchases. These cute bags, made just for Girls Night Out, will be available at the Maplewood Village Alliance tent (while supplies last) and are generously sponsored by Sarah Maloney of Sunquest Funding.
This year a portion of the proceeds from Girls Night Out will be donated in support of brain cancer research through The Caroline Fund, in memory of local merchant and Maplewood resident Angelo Vayas and donation jars will be placed throughout the Village.
