Good news, local shoppers!
The South Orange Pop ‘N Shop has extended its run by one more day. The store — featuring jewelry, men’s and women’s apparel, comic book coasters, soaps and beauty items, organic honey products, t-shirts, artwork, picture frames and more from local artisans — is coming back for a bonus shopping day on Saturday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the South Orange Village Center Facebook page, shoppers and downtown merchants both clamored for the return of the shop which is driving holiday traffic and excitement in the Village Center. In its first weekend, Matt Glass of the South Orange Village Center Alliance reported that the shop was averaging $2,000/day in sales. The second weekend appeared to top those numbers, with a steady stream of customers from opening to closing — including long lines for the Kimchi Smoke pop-up event on Saturday night.
The South Orange Pop ‘N Shop is located at 65 South Orange Avenue.
