It’s beginning to feel a LOT like the holidays in Maplewood Village. The Dickens Village houses are up and almost ready for the official viewing. The downtown is festooned with garland, lights and bows, and merchants have their windows decked out in holiday style.
This weekend is the official kick-off to holiday events in Maplewood Village, with Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving by firetruck, the viewing of the Dickens Houses, a holiday story hour, and the lighting of the tree.
Activities continue each weekend until Christmas. The Menorah Lighting is Saturday, Dec. 8.
