Johanna Wright
I am writing this letter in support of Johanna Wright’s campaign for a second term on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education. Having had the opportunity to serve on the board last year, I am confident that Johanna Wright is exactly what this school district needs.
Over the past thirty years, Johanna Wright has had a tremendous impact on this community. As an educator and a coach she has both educated and inspired innumerable young people. She does her research, speaks honestly, prioritizes communication with the community, and always thinks of whom she is representing: the children of these two towns. These qualities — discipline, candor, accessibility, and integrity — are invaluable in the difficult transitional period that this district is facing. She advocates for every child as if he or she was her own, represents taxpayers, respects and prioritizes teachers. Above all, she has common sense and excellent judgement.
Johanna Wright has been and will continue to be one of this community’s greatest assets. I am excited to be voting for her on November 8th.
