To the Editor:
I’m George Albert Curtis III and a homeowner in Maplewood NJ. I’m writing this letter to endorse Maplewoood Township Committee candidate Frank McGehee.
I specifically remember when I went to vote recently he approached me, introduced himself and told me he was running for Township Committee. I noticed right away that he was cordial, genuine and not pretentious and could tell that he’s the type of guy who wants to make a difference. I too share the same qualities and do the same in my life, so we got along instantly.
As I learned more about him, I can tell that he walks the walk and I like his vision for improvements for all. Our parks, our cultures, our relationships with each other, the beauty of our town, the well being and safety of our town, and most importantly, the development of our young people. Our young people are everything and it’s up to us to show them integrity, manners, discipline and the importance of being educated, not just talk about it, but teach young people to believe in themselves, and let them know how talented they are.
I can tell that’s a high priority for Mr. McGehee, so it’s with great confidence that I endorse him. Making a difference feeds a future.
Sincerely.
George Albert Curtis III
