On Tuesday, December 20th, Essex County Executive Divincenzo presented awards to South Orange residents in the 12th Annual Sustainable Homes and Habitats Gingerbread Contest.
Thea, Jeff, Dottie and Frank DeFrank won first place in the Group/Family Category in the Essex County Environmental Center’s 12th Annual Sustainable Homes and Habitats Gingerbread Contest. Entries were judged on distinctiveness, creative use of nature theme, use of sustainable building design techniques and skill in decoration. The holiday contest is held to help raise awareness about nature and the environment.
