The Maplewood Police have issued a weather advisory warning residents of the coastal storm reaching inland today and into tonight.
The storm will bring heavy rains and wind; flooding is projected. Police urge residents to use caution and drive safely.
NJ.com reports that the storm, which has already hit South Jersey with 55 mph winds, will intensify in northern New Jersey late this morning and into the afternoon bringing heavy winds and rain. Read more here.
